ABOUT TUZLA CANTON

Visit TK

IN SUMMARY...

They say that time runs slower in Bosnia. So stop every so often to look at people on their way to work, children playing in schoolyards, couples in love on the park benches or groups of people sitting in the afternoon sun with the inevitable coffee and a handful of conversation. Take a good look at the monuments and inscriptions on the walls of houses and look up from time to time – you just might find some interesting detail hidden there. Walk the seemingly unsightly streets, visit markets and flea markets and breathe in that spirit to the fullest.

Some places will be luxurious and glamorous, others simple and modest, but the people you meet will always be open, warm and friendly. Feel free to ask people for guidance or information. You may be surprised at how eagerly they will try to help you. Maybe you'll even make a new friend.

And all first-time visitors will come back again. They are fascinated by the landscapes, by sights, sounds and smells, situations and people. They gladly take a little something with them: a souvenir, some photos and lots of impressions and experiences.
